SEO Case Study – Adriatic Rent a Car

Adriatic Rent a Car is a company specialized in vehicle rental in Montenegro, with a focus on locations such as Tivat and Tivat Airport. The client offers a wide selection of vehicles for tourists and business users, along with a simple reservation process and competitive prices.

The goal of the cooperation was to increase the website’s organic visibility on Google search, grow the number of relevant visits, and achieve better rankings for key phrases related to rent a car services in Tivat.

Reasons for SEO Optimization

Before the start of the cooperation, the website was not generating significant organic traffic, nor was it sufficiently visible for key search queries that potential users search for on Google on a daily basis.

The main challenges were:

  • poor rankings for the most important commercial keywords,
  • low number of organic visits,
  • insufficiently optimized website content and structure,
  • insufficient domain authority development compared to competitors.

In order to improve the online presence and increase the number of bookings through organic visits, we created a detailed SEO strategy focused on long-term growth and stable positioning on Google search.

What Steps Did We Implement?

During the SEO optimization process, we focused on the complete SEO cycle: from technical website optimization to building domain authority through off-page activities.

We used tools such as Google Search Console and Semrush to monitor website performance, user behavior, and keyword ranking growth.

Some of the key steps included:

Technical SEO Analysis

A detailed analysis of the website’s technical state was conducted in order to identify issues affecting indexing, page loading speed, and user experience. Work was done on improving website performance, optimizing URL structure, mobile version, and internal linking.

Keyword Analysis and SEO Strategy

Keyword research was carried out with a focus on commercial searches related to rent a car services in Tivat and at Tivat Airport. We defined priority phrases with the highest potential for organic traffic growth and bookings.

On-page SEO Optimization

We optimized meta titles, meta descriptions, heading structures, page content, and image alt tags. Special focus was placed on landing pages for key locations and services to make them more relevant for both Google and users.

Local SEO (Google My Business Profile)

We optimized the company’s Google My Business profile in order to increase local visibility for searches such as “rent a car Tivat” and “car rental near Tivat airport.” We worked on improving local signals and strengthening presence in Google Maps results.

Off-page SEO and Link Building

Through a guest post strategy and publishing content on relevant websites, we increased domain authority and built a high-quality backlink profile, which positively impacted keyword rankings on Google.

Growth in Organic Rankings

One of the main goals was to improve rankings for the most important keywords related to rent a car services in Tivat.

In the period from November 2025 to April 2026, significant progress was achieved:


The improvement in rankings for the above-mentioned keywords led to significantly greater website visibility on Google search, a higher number of impressions, and an increase in relevant organic traffic.

It is especially important to emphasize that keywords with high commercial intent were moved closer to the TOP 10 search results, which directly resulted in an increase in clicks and bookings.

During six months of SEO optimization, continuous growth in organic traffic and improvement of the website’s average Google positions were recorded.

Entering the TOP 10 results for a large number of relevant keywords significantly increased website visibility and the number of organic visits.

What Contributed Additionally to the Results?

In addition to standard SEO activities, the focus was also on:

  • improving user experience on the website,
  • optimizing pages for mobile devices,
  • creating content aligned with search intent,
  • strengthening local presence in Google results,
  • continuously monitoring competitors and adjusting the SEO strategy.

SEO results did not happen overnight; the growth was achieved through continuous work, data analysis, and optimization of all important SEO factors.

In the period from November 2025 to April 2026, the following results were recorded from the organic channel:

  • 342% increase in organic traffic
  • significant growth in rankings for the most important commercial keywords
  • a large number of keywords entering the TOP 10 Google results
  • improvement of the average website position from 14 to 9
  • increased brand visibility and local presence on Google search
